This organization sole purpose is to teach and guide our daughters how to grow into an outstanding, strong young woman of today's society. We are devoted to teaching our young ladies how to become more productive members of society and their community while encouraging your teen to be a harmonious and contributing member of her family.
PEARLS learn that good manners should be a way of life, We will give your daughter an edge by developing poise, self-confidence and leadership skills that will help to make them feel good about self. The young girl with a healthy self-esteem becomes the adult with a positive sense of self. By learning to blend contemporary manners with traditional etiquette, your daughter will be at ease with adults, their peers, and most importantly themselves.
PEARLS can help your teenage girl meet life's challenges with confidence by teaching them social skills, etiquette, the importance of academic excellence, responsibility for self and personal style. This will help build her character by teaching her value judgement, thinking on her won, the importance of getting a good education and not giving into peer pressure.
Typically a total of 15 girls will receive an invitations to join this unique and illustrious Auxiliary. Each of these girls will be identified thorough various ways. If they accept the invitation to become a part of the organization they must complete an eight week program designed to teach them how to individually become a better person and to strengthen their love of self.
They are required to maintain at least a 2.5 GPA. With access to free tutors as well as mentors during this process. The teens will have several goals and missions that they must accomplish with the help of their Advisor. In order to be successful they will have to rely on each other.
Some of the things that your teen will learn is social etiquette as well as business protocol, table manners, and the importance of associating with positive people. They will experience new things, while learning more about their self, culture and history.
At the end of their 8 week training those that have made the commitment to maintain self excellence will be granted a lifetime membership. After going through an amazing transformation the PEARLS will debut in their very own Cotillion. Where they will again be presented not only with a lifetime membership certificate, and official PEARL shirt, they will each be given their PEARL necklace. The ladies will know that having received their necklace signifies that they have reached a new plateau. They are now prepared to go out and represent not only themselves but their families, community and PEARLS in a positive light.
